Mosaic Mountain
Our Newest Adventure: Building a Village

A Mosaic is made up of many broken pieces. It is in that brokenness that a mosaic finds its beauty
Here at Mosaic Mountain, we believe the same is true about people. Our goals are to make life easier on our tribe, pool resources and skills, and create something beautiful together… not in spite of our brokenness, but to honor everyone’s unique gifts! We will be taking the next few years to build a community of people who want to live in nature, share skills, and create a softer life for us all
Mosaic Mountain is a queer friendly, accessibility focused, anti-racist, anti-misogynist community, committed to healing people of all ages through nature, connection, and freedom from religion.
At Mosaic Mountain, we respect all consensual adult relationships, including but not limited to polyamory, open relationships, kink, monogamy, and any other consenting relationship.
Through trauma informed communication, connection based living, and using an asset based mentality, we hope to create a family friendly village where those of us who feel cast out or worn down by society can rest, heal, and grow. Mosaic Mountain is comitted to making Appalachia, and anywhere we may touch, safer and more accessible for more diverse populations.
The Beginning
On July 3rd, 2025 we purchased 105 acres of gorgeous holler in KY.
We will spend the next year building Rogue Offerings, a wedding and event venue as unique and diverse as we are. After the wedding, we plan to turn the event space into a ritual center and camping/glamping destination.
Buckminster Fuller
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for people who want/need to escape the predatory game of musical chairs designed only to benefit billionaires and multinational corporations. Let’s pool our intellectual and creative talents to design a model for a new post-capitalist, post-consumerist, antiracist, and welcoming community that is environmentally and economically sustainable.
If you are fed up with the status quo, working harder and harder just to keep your head above water, and screaming at whatever device provides your news, check us out and see if we might have the cure for what ails you.
We currently offer contractor and work camper opportunities for those who want to put their efforts toward building something that benefits everyone rather than just looking out for themselves.
For those without mobile housing you can bring with you, we can house approximately 3-4 people at a time while working to build more homes. We will scale up as necessary.
