Pack swim suits, costumes, and formal ware. Ceremony and reception are black tie optional.
Sara’s Story
Sara Boebinger was born in Normal, Il. As an outgoing and active child she loved competing in any and every sport. Dance became her passion at the age of 14. Camping was also a family passion growing up, trying to find at least 1-2 weeks a year to get out into nature and slow down.
Through dancing in college she build a network that eventually landed her at Sway Dance in Chicago where she met Jonathon. Finding someone whose passions matched hers was like a fairytale. A magical, woodsy, dancing fairytale! In 2024, she had a transformative year, shortly before heading to the courthouse to officially become Mrs. Rogoff, she was given the nickname Siren. This name helped her to find a strength and identity she had been working hard to build. To this day, Siren is a passionate dancer, world traveler, and camper, with a passion to see all 50 states, and make nature more accessible for all.
Jonathon’s Story
Jonathon Rogoff was born in Chicago and grew up in Park Forest, moving to Chicago after graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has developed technical solutions for many clients including Microsoft, Cars.com, and thinkorswim. For the last decade he has been developing discreet electronic monitoring solutions that replace the stigmatizing ankle bracelets. He loves camping, ballroom dancing, and traveling.
Our Relationship
Siren and Jonathon met in 2021, at Sway Dance Chicago. For Siren, it was love at first laugh. From across a group dance lesson (her first with a new studio) she heard a chuckle that felt like hug from the inside out. Looking over she locked eyes with the man she would soon love. The twinkle in his eye and the passion she soon learned he had for dance made it hard to feel anything but complete and utter magic when in his presence.
After months of Siren laying the ground work and Jonathon finally getting the hint, we started dating in July of 2022, days before we went on our first camping trip together. As we continued to realize how many interests we have in common, doing life together continued to make more and more sense!
On Vacation in Las Vegas, February 2024, sitting poolside, rested, relaxed, and sun kissed we made the mutual decision to spend forever together. The following day we celebrated with a canal ride at the Venetian. We went to the courthouse that June, and are currently looking forward to properly celebrating our joy with all our friends and family.
